We started with a simple question: Why does making videos still feel so painful? Most tools are either too complex or too limiting. And while AI makes some things faster, it also takes something away — control, originality, humanity.

Butter takes a different approach. It makes video creation fast, playful, and modular, like building with Legos. You can edit, remix, and evolve your work endlessly instead of being stuck with rigid templates or one-off AI outputs.

Today, Butter powers video creation for thousands of brands including Crocs, Netflix, and Pinterest, and artists like Blackpink and Future.

About the Role

As our , you’ll help run the company.

This role spans strategy, planning, execution, and internal systems. You’ll work closely with the CEO and leadership team to improve how decisions are made, how priorities are set, and how work flows across teams.

Your job is to reduce chaos, increase clarity, and make sure the right things get done.

You’ll own core operating rhythms — planning cycles, reporting, metrics, hiring processes, and cross-functional alignment.

This is not a support role. It’s a leverage and systems building role.

Domains You'll Own

• Company planning and goal-setting
• Operating cadence (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
• KPI reporting and dashboards
• Hiring process infrastructure
• Cross-functional coordination
• Strategic special projects

Overall You'll

• Improve how we set and track priorities.
• Build clear dashboards and reporting systems.
• Partner with leadership on board and investor materials.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose structural fixes.
• Run key internal processes end-to-end.
• Lead high-leverage projects that don’t fit neatly into one function.

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years in strategy, operations, consulting, or early-stage startup roles

• Strong structured thinking and communication
• Comfortable building systems from scratch
• High ownership and bias toward action
• Clear writer and communicator
• Comfortable working directly with founders

Bonus:
• Experience in venture-backed startups
• Strong financial modeling skills
• Experience running hiring pipelines
